How can I vote?
Advance Voting By Mail: Any registered voter in Kansas can vote by mail without an excuse. Request an advance ballot in person at your county election office, by fax, or by mail. Applications must be received by the county election officer by the close of business on the Tuesday preceding Election Day. Completed ballots sent by mail must be postmarked by Election Day and received within three days after. Completed ballots can also be submitted in person at any polling place in the county by the close of polls on Election Day.
Advance Voting In-Person: Any registered voter can cast an advance ballot in-person until noon on the day before Election Day. Contact your county election office for details on hours and locations.
Election Day: Voting sites will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. If you’re in line by closing time, you can vote. Some counties may have extended hours; contact your county election officer for details.
